My Weekend AKA PLAN B
Boy have I been busy! Sooo busy that I don’t get around to telling you all about my weekend until Wednesday morning hehe:) And even now I am pulling myself away form my webcam and emails to type this out as fast as I can, but I just realized I haven’t posted a blog about what I’ve been up to for awhile, so it was necessary:)
I had a pretty awesome weekend! Friday I was on my webcam until the wee hours of the night. Before I went to bed I worked on my Comic Con outfit (this will be another bog posting in itself!:)
Saturday I got up early and started working on this new project I have coming up for www.AaliyahLove.com, (which you w ill all find out about soon enough!:) Then I took a nap..gotta love a siesta!:)
That night me and some friends were supposed to go out to a 1920′s flapper, burlesque type of bar, so I got all dressed up in a sexy black dress, a crazy peacock feather headband and a black purse with peacock feathers coming off of it! I brought my camera to take pics especially to post here for you guys, but I made the major mistake of forgetting to put a card in the camera, doh! So not only did the camera only take 4 pics total until it started beeping “Memory Full!” but I can’t seem to find the right cord to get the pics out.. aaahhh!:( I’m sure I’ll figure it out eventually, so like a month from now I’ll post the pics and be like “remember that outfit I described to you guys?” and you’ll all be like “Huh?” LOL!
Anyways, when we got to the bar around 11pm, there was a line around the block! And although there were some super hotties dressed as flappers in that line that I wouldn’t of minded standing next to for an hour, waiting in line that long isn’t our style, so we left and looked around for Plan B.
Plan B ended up being this super cool bar called the Crocket Club downtown LA. It used to be a bank that was converted, and it had all of these little private rooms that fit 2-4 people where you could sit and chill. I guess they’re the rooms where people used to count their money in their safety deposit box. It’s really private and super comfy..I couldn’t help but wonder how many times they have caught people having sex in those booths!! I wish I could describe it to you better, and again, with the pictures.. aaahh:( Guess you’ll just have to use your imagination hehe:)
Speaking of peacocks, Sunday we planned on going to an Arboretum to walk around and look at beautiful plants and landscaping. It was SUPER HOT out that day, which I love, but too hot to walk around in the sunshine for too long, so as the sun started to go down and it started to cool down around 4:30 we went. We got there at 4:31 actually, and found out they closed at 4:30. Aaahhh! Plan B again? So we walked around the outside and peeked thru he fence, and as we were leaving all of these peacocks came out of nowhere and started walking thru the parking lot, right up to us! They were soo cool and I could of reached out and pet them they were so close, there was even a family with a little baby peacock which I had never seen before, it was super cute, I just wanted to squeeze it so bad but I resisted!
I did manage to get a couple pics from this place at least!:)
Then Sunday night me and my friends were planning on watching new True Blood and Entourage, but the tv BROKE last minute. We were sitting there on the couch staring at each other like, “what do we do now?” so, once again, PLAN B, I said let’s go to the movies! So we went to see INCEPTION with Leo DiCaprio.. OMG is all I can say! It was an AWESOME MOVIE! I highly recommend you all go see it, then come back here and discuss it with me:)
Long story short, it was a pretty awesome weekend, and PLAN B seemed to always work out, maybe even be better than Plan A would have:)

My weekend was good, I didn’t have to go to Plan Bs like you, all of my Plan As worked out. I do agree that sometimes Plan B ends up being better than Plan A could have been.
I went to a baseball game on Saturday night and Sunday I had to fix a constantly running toilet at my house which included a trip to the hardware store. Other than that I just kind of chilled out and relaxed.

My weekend was SHORT! It seemed like I blinked and it was over lol. There was also the matter of the weird sleep patterns, but overall, I can’t complain too much. I got finished almost everything I needed to get done, went out on the town Saturday and had a some great food.
I’m ready for the next weekend to get here now, and the one after that, and the one after that lol.
Personally, I’m so glad you’re having good times whether it’s Plan A or Plan B or Plan C or whatever. You need play time so you’re work play time is that much better ;)

Sounds fun. I am planning to see Inception this coming weekend. To quote a TV show and now movie: “I love it when a plan comes together!”
Even if it is plan B LOL.

I have done that and I cant tell you how many times I have done that. Forgetting a card during a memorable event or discovering a memorable thing…its a letdown for sure.
Love the peacocks but they are so noisy. If you ever took a trip to the desert, the exotic feline breeding compound has bout 3 of these birds along the grounds. Lots of noise.

I think this sounds like an awesome weekend even if it wasn’t what you originally set out to do. I had quite weekend just hanging otu with some friends. But I did have a family get together on Sunday with my mums family. We usually get together a couple of time a year for special occations like birthdays or Christmas. Despite being the only person under the age of 40 I still had a good time.
I went to see Inception Monday after work and I have to agree with you it is an awesome movie, the special effects and the story was just perfect, even DiCaprio was good in it and I think I’ve only liked 2 of his movies before Inception. I think I will have to see it again just to make sure I understood the story correctly.

It’s always good to have a well founded Plan B! I’ve been on a True Blood kick too. I look forward to seeing the flapper pictures!
